Andrew’s substantial experience includes working in IT, project management, compliance, and data protection for major blue-chip companies including IBM, American Express, and Chase Manhattan.
With a keen interest in the law and regulation, he realised that organisations needed his specialist help to adjust to the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
In 2019 Andrew achieved a Master's Degree in Law with distinction from the University of South Wales.
His in-depth knowledge of data in sport, IT, and commercial enterprise allows him to advise employment lawyers, employment solicitors, sports organisations, sports lawyers, commercial businesses, and individuals.
He also acts as a data protection officer for several companies.
His areas of expertise include data protection and GDPR, privacy law, and sports disputes and arbitration.
He has an in-depth knowledge of data in sport and is a governance consultant for the Welsh Sports Association, advising on corporate law and data protection in sport and safeguarding.
Andrew sits on the committee of Public Law Wales and is an associate member of
Cardiff & District Law Society.
